Institute for Oil and Oil Products Transportation (NII TNN) is the leading organization of JSC AK Transneft in performing R&D and technological works aimed at development of new technologies, equipment and materials in the field of designing, building, operating and repair of main pipelines and development of scientific and technological basis for designing and building pipeline systems. 

The Institute is responsible for development of normative and technical documentation and running the registry of normative and technical base of oil and oil products pipeline transportation and Registry of technical documentation for production which meet requirements of JSC AK Transneft.
